Mr. Schifter is a devoted family man, happily married to his wife Jessica and a proud father of three children, Cory, Kyle, and Julia. He has earned numerous awards and citations recognizing both his business leadership and charitable contributions to the community.
He was featured on NY1 News’ “Got It Made in New York” for Casale Jewelers’ distinctive in-house custom design business. In 2012, Casale Jewelers was recognized by American Express and Facebook as one of the top five small businesses in the nation. In 2019, the company was named a runner-up in the New York Jets and M&T Bank Small Business Takeoff.
Mr. Schifter has been an active community leader, serving as a member of the South Shore Rotary Club and Verrazano Kiwanis, as well as a board member of the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce. He is a former co-chairperson of Sunrise Day Camp, a free camp for children with cancer and their siblings, a mentor in the Chamber’s Young Entrepreneur Academy, and a board member of the Emergency Children’s Help Organization (ECHO).
In recognition of his leadership, Mr. Schifter was honored as South Shore Rotarian of the Year in 2013 and received the prestigious Louis R. Miller Award for business leadership in 2014.
Through his commitment to excellence in business and dedication to serving others, Mr. Schifter continues to make a lasting impact on both his industry and the Staten Island and New Jersey communities.
